The AI Social Club

AI is complex. The experience around it doesn't have to be.

In short

The AI Social Club helps people and organisations understand AI and use it meaningfully. We started with what the brand needed to mean, then carried positioning, identity and website through to Framer.

Strategy

Position first, pixels later.

Action

Brand strategy, identity and a Framer website, carried through by one team.

How we worked

01

Position

At the centre, a simple belief: AI is here to stay, and understanding how to work with it is becoming part of how we work, lead and build.

02

Structure

The site answers five questions in order: why it matters, is it for me, how they help, why trust them, what to do next.

03

Design

An identity that feels contemporary, credible and approachable, not like a technology trend.

04

Build & test

Designed and implemented in Framer by the same team.

The story

Position first. Design second.

The objective wasn't to explain every aspect of artificial intelligence. It was to help someone understand: why does this matter to me, where do I start, and what can The AI Social Club help me do?

Brand foundation

Then strategy became interface.

Positioning informed the messaging. Messaging informed the information hierarchy. The identity shaped the visual language. The UX brought those pieces together into a site that makes a fast-moving subject feel structured and approachable.

Website experience

Because when the subject is complex, clarity becomes part of the design.

Inside the Work

The long read

AI moves quickly. Very quickly. Tools change. Capabilities change. Terminology changes. And for businesses trying to understand what any of it means for them, the volume of information can easily become part of the problem. The AI Social Club was developing around a different ambition: helping people and organisations discuss, understand and learn how to use AI meaningfully. As that ambition grew, there was an opportunity to bring the brand and its digital presence into closer alignment with where the organisation was going. So when GOMBOC approached the project, we didn’t start by asking what the website should look like. We started with a more fundamental question.
