Brand & Communication

In short

Shows, characters, birthdays, workshops, Mobile Theater. We built Instagram into a communication system where every post has a role, and each month's results shape the next.

Strategy

Give every post a job, and measure action, not just reach.

Action

A monthly create, measure, learn, adapt loop. 66.1% of profile visits turned into follows on Guignol Goes to Dubai.

How we worked

01

Strategy

Communication tied to changing business priorities: a show one month, birthdays or Mobile Theater the next.

02

Concept

Content roles: programme, experience, character, people and offer, each with its own job.

03

Production

Programme of the Week, character stories and human content, made in-house.

04

Community

Instagram as the place families discover what's happening and decide what to explore.

05

Learn & adapt

July showed what made people want to know more; August tested experience-first content and it held up.

The story

So we built a system that could evolve with them.

Programme of the Week makes the account useful. Characters and stories make it memorable. Human content introduces the people behind the experience. Every month gives us information about what audiences respond to, and that shapes what comes next.

Communication system

Reach tells us who saw it. Actions tell us what happened next.

Some content reached many people without creating the same downstream action. Instead of asking only what performed, we asked what made someone want to know more, and fed that into the next cycle.

Learning loop

The percentage proof.

The clearest proof comes from conversion efficiency, not reach alone. For Guignol Goes to Dubai, the 37 follows generated against 56 profile visits are equivalent to a 66.1% profile-visit-to-follow ratio. In August, one boosted Programme post turned 2.54% of reached accounts into profile visits, and 23.1% of those profile visits into follows. The July data also shows why we compare actions rather than visibility alone: one Programme post produced a 3.36% profile-visit rate, while another higher-reach post produced 0.38% – almost a 9x difference in action efficiency.

Conversion proof in %

Not a feed built once. A communication system built to grow with the business.

Inside the Work

The long read

Les Marionnettes doesn’t have one thing to talk about. It has many. Shows. Characters. Weekly programmes. Birthdays. Workshops. Special events. Mobile Theater. New experiences. And the priorities change depending on what’s happening inside the business. GOMBOC began working alongside Les Marionnettes relatively early in its development. As the business grew, the role of its social communication grew with it. Instagram became an important point of discovery: somewhere families could see what’s happening, understand the experiences and decide what they wanted to explore. That meant the account needed to do more than remain active. It needed structure.
