ECAF X Culture Emulsion | Ministry of Culture

Commissioned by Culture & Emulsion in collaboration with the UAE Ministry of Culture, the Emirati Culture and Framework for Schools (ECAF) is a nationwide initiative designed to immerse schoolteachers in Emirati heritage, traditions, and values. Over the course of a full year, the program traveled across all seven Emirates, hosting activities and workshops that helped educators better understand and integrate Emirati culture within classrooms.

1. Pre-Production:

Coordinated closely with Culture & Emulsion and the Ministry of Culture to align on objectives and storytelling needs.
Developed a flexible filming plan to adapt to different Emirates and event formats.

2. Production (Year-Long Coverage):

Filmed across all seven Emirates, covering activities, workshops, and cultural programs for teachers.
Captured a mix of wide-scale event documentation, participant engagement, and cultural details.

3. Post-Production:

Edited a series of four films, each focusing on different stages and outcomes of the initiative.
Delivered polished storytelling pieces with dynamic visuals, interviews, and cultural highlights.

Results

Delivered four films that documented the full ECAF journey across the Emirates.
Showcased the initiative’s success in bridging Emirati culture with the education sector.
Content served as both a legacy archive and a communication tool for stakeholders, highlighting the Ministry’s commitment to cultural integration in schools.
